Mostly Mozart Festival. Come one, come all—tonight's performance is packed with surefire star power, as virtuoso violinist Joshua Bell performs Brahms's Violin Concerto. Led by Louis Langrée, the Festival Orchestra will present Mozart's Symphony No. 1 (composed at age 8) and Schubert's poignant Symphony No. 4 ("Tragic"). Natalia Katyukova (piano) and Ilya Finkelshteyn (cello) perform more Brahms in a preconcert recital at 7pm.
