"Monodramas"

In the hippest opera event of the season, avant-garde theater pioneer and installation artist Michael Counts stages three one-act works—John Zorn's La machine de l'être, Schoenberg's Erwartung and Morton Feldman's Neither. The multimedia production includes choreography by Ken Roht and visuals by Jennifer Steinkamp and Ada Whitney, plus three fearless young sopranos: Ana Komsi, Kara Shay Thompson and Cyndia Sieden.
