Meredith Monk and Vocal Ensemble

The culminating concert of this iconic musician's yearlong residency at Carnegie Hall features the composer-vocalist in a most familiar context: as part of the long-running ensemble that knows her music best. Together, the group presents a selection from Monk's 50-year performance career, including Dolmen Music (one of Björk's favorite pieces), as well as excerpts from impermanence, Facing North and the recent On Behalf of Nature.
