Individually, pianist Sylvie Courvoisier, percussionist Susie Ibarra and laptopper Ikue Mori are among the more distinctive musicians in the downtown scene, each equally capable of filigreed nuance and shattering power. Together, the trio is a seamless unit with lightning reflexes; on a good night (and there are many), it's one of the most powerful bands in town. Saxophonist John Zorn joins in on the early set tonight, while visiting bass virtuoso Joëlle Léandre sits in for the late show.
