Pianist, singer and arranger Ray is a familiar figure in the alt-cabaret world, thanks to his essential work with artists like Taylor Mac, Bridget Everett, Justin Vivian Bond and Lady Rizo. In this show for the American Songbook series, he takes center stage to delve into the catalog of Tin Pan Alley master Carmichael, whose gifts to world included "Stardust," "Skylark," "Georgia on My Mind," "The Nearness of You" and "Heart and Soul."
