Known as the powerhouse voice behind such iconic hits as “It’s Raining Men” and “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” two-time Grammy nominee Martha Wash will use those legendary vocals to provide the soundtrack for your Valentine’s Day with a February 14 performance at Joe’s Pub.
An evening of music, emotion and plenty of soul, the performance will showcase songs from Wash’s powerful new album Love & Conflict, which is a bold departure from her dance-music roots, instead offering up an eclectic mix of blues-rock and adult contemporary tunes that highlight Martha’s extraordinary vocal prowess.
