Mark Turner

Tenor saxophonist Mark Turner, one of the more thoughtful melodicists and resourceful improvisers on the current scene, is often found with a pianist or guitarist harmonizing beside him. That makes this freewheeling encounter with trumpeter Jason Palmer, pianist David Virelles, bassist Matt Brewer and drummer Nasheet Waits all the more enticing.
