This is a really captivating bill, if strange folk sounds are your thing: Marissa Nadler is one of the more gifted artists to soar through that galaxy, her river-clear voice matching itself to simple, lazily paced songs. In support, Natureboy is actually a girl called Sara Kermanshahi, who plays pretty, strange little numbers, and clearly listens to a lot of Love records. Plus there are mellifluous but disturbing songs from Dublin's excellent Villagers, playing behind brand-new album Becoming a Jackal (Domino), and Victoria Bergsman of Taken By Trees deejays.
