Marc Ducret + Dan Weiss, Marc Ducret and Tim Berne

The French guitarist Marc Ducret has had no greater champion on these shores than saxophonist and Screwgun label head Tim Berne, which is why it comes as no surprise to see that Ducret has a substantial role in Berne's guest-curator stint at the Stone. Ducret and Berne play with drummer Dan Weiss at 8pm; Ches Smith takes the throne and Matt Mitchell mans the piano bench at 10pm.
