Mae + Terrible Things

We didn’t think this was possible, but Mae took the emo aesthetic and made it even more saccharine. The band’s histrionic vocal harmonies glide through their wanna-be-anthemic melodies with the slickness of a teenager’s face, untainted by Clearasil. Also on the bill is Terrible Things, a band whose family tree intertwines with those of Coheed and Cambria, and Taking Back Sunday.
