Lyrics & Lyricists: Sondheim—Wordplay

The 92nd Street Y’s estimable Lyrics & Lyricists series devotes its latest evening to the omnidextrous Stephen Sondheim, whose verbal mastery perhaps represents the all-time high-water mark in the art of Broadway lyric writing. Christopher Gattelli directs a revue written by Jack Feldman and Ted Chapin, with a cast of six very fine musical-theater actor-singers: Melissa Errico, Christopher Fitzgerald, Telly Leung, Lesli Margherita, Ruthie Ann Miles and Lauren Worsham.
