Lost Jazz Shrines: Celebrating the Royal Roost and Miles Davis

The Lost Jazz Shrines series, which honors key NYC venues of the past, pays tribute to late-’40s midtown bebop incubator the Royal Roost. Saxist Bob Belden leads a quintet in the spirit of Miles Davis's famed Birth of the Cool band, which debuted at the Roost in 1948.
