Mozart’s adaptation of The Marriage of Figaro isn’t the famous “Figaro, Figaro, Figaro” one (that’s Rossini’s Barber of Seville) but it is one of the great tellings of Pierre Beaumarchais’s trilogy of rom-coms about Figaro the barber. dell'Arte Opera and the Metamorphosis Chamber Orchestra have devoted August to various stagings of the stories, coming to a close this week.
