Ageless, timeless and ineffably cool, postmodern musical storyteller Laurie Anderson has been on her artistic grind in recent years, playing Moogfest, directing an Oscar-shortlisted film about her dead pet, Heart of a Dog, and most recently, penning a collection of essays titled All the Things I Lost in the Flood. To celebrate its release, she reads selections of the book alongside performances of her music with visuals and electronics.
