You may not know the name, but you have most definitely heard LaLa Brooks sing—in fact, you may have shed tears to her voice. The Brooklyn-born artist was a member of Phil Spector's Crystals when, at 15 (!), she sang lead on "Da Doo Ron Ron" and "Then He Kissed Me." Tonight she comes to the Bell House with an excellent young backing band: the girl-group–fixated Jenny Dee and the Deelinquents, who also play a set of their own.
