Kyle Riabko: Richard Rodgers Reimagined

An alum of Hair and Spring Awakening, Riabko applied his pretty voice and a sincere mien to the classic pop catalog of Burt Bacharach in the 2013 Off Broadway revue What's It All About? On his new album, he turns his strumming attentions to songs by musical-theater master Rodgers, including "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'" and "Where or When." His thoughtful arrangements tend toward the slow and rueful, which may prove well suited to the intimate Joe's Pub stage.
