Heat-seeking New Zealand songwriter Kimbra is much more than the crystal-clear–voiced cameo artist on Gotye's 2011 viral hit, "Somebody That I Used to Know." Here, for the women-centered Selkie Series, she performs her heavily rhythmic jazz-and-soul-inflected pop concoctions—both old and unreleased material—through a unique setup looping and sampling live musicians Spencer Zahn and Timon Martin.
