Kath Bloom

Kath Bloom is a striking Connecticut folksinger who taught herself guitar in a graveyard and released a string of albums in the 1970s and ’80s, before retiring from music. Having long ago returned to performance, Bloom issued a guileless folk record, Thin Thin Line, in 2010 on Caldo Verde. Be warned: Listeners who gravitate to her work tend to fall deep.
