Jorge Ben Jor

Brazilian tropicalia superstar Jorge Ben Jor first hit big in the early ’60s with "Mas Que Nada"—which has since been interpreted by Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie; and in the ’70s, his "Taj Mahal" song was copied by Rod Stewart on "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" (the resemblance is startling, and a lot of fun).
