With a bay view behind the stage, Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater (as it’s now called) provides one of the area’s most picturesque spots to see a summer concert. Yes, you’ll have to plan ahead to make your way there: The venue is about an hour from Manhattan by car. If you don’t have a friend with wheels, the LIRR is an option, though you’ll need to take a bus (or a ride share) to complete your trip.
