For their shared residency at Joe's Pub, the eternally elfin alt-queer actor and creator John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) teams up with the multitalented cabaret hurricane Amber Martin, a chameleonic performer with a killer voice. At each show, they perform songs from their respective repertoires—his many musicals and movies, her original characters and tribute shows to performers like Bette Midler, Janis Joplin and Reba McEntire—according to the dictates of a "Cassette of Fortune" spun by members of the audience.
