Revisiting Jefferson Starship rather than the Airplane is something like renting Weekend at Bernie's II instead of the original, but we won't let that get in the way of us wishing founding guitarist Paul Kantner a swell 70th birthday. He's joined by Moonalice, a jam band made up of journeyman all-stars like Barry Sless and Pete Sears; by Bay Area roots-rockers Hot Buttered Rum; and onetime Labelle singer Nona Hendryx, who sang on Talking Heads' Remain in Light.
