Jazz to Classical Vocal Festival

Cornelia Street Café hosts a trio of vocalists at this intergenre minifest. On Jan 28, Laila Salins celebrates a new CD, Elevator Into the Sky, based on the poetry of Anne Sexton; duetting with pianist Richard Pearson Thomas, soprano Lisa Daehlin performs "Twisted Stitch: Songs of Love and Knitting" on Jan 29; and Tessa Souter heads up a trio with pianist Adam Birnbaum and cellist Dana Leong on Jan 30.
