Jazz Mafia's Brass, Bows and Beats

Straight out of the Bay Area and headed for the Newport Jazz Festival, this oversize hip-hop ensemble of vocalists and instrumentalists crams its 40 bodies onto the not-especially-large stage at (Le) Poisson Rouge for a mix of thumping beats, brassy flourishes and flashy rhyming.
