If you ever dreamed of being a character in Pride & Prejudice, these concerts are for you. On Fri 5, soprano Julianne Baird sings Austen family favorites and other tunes of the period, along with narration drawn from the writer's novels. On Sun 7, the Vassar College Women's Chorus performs specially commissioned works by composers Eleanor Daley and Joelle Wallach, based off of Austen's texts.
