Iris Dement

Veteran country-folk singer-songwriter Iris Dement has a shrill, strong voice and sings with stirring conviction. She's also been a regular on Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion show, and has duetted with John Prine, Emmylou Harris and Steve Earle. Tonight she sings from a new album, The Delta—her first of original material in 16 years.
