Much like the 2012 crop of alt-R&B heroes—Frank Ocean, Miguel and the Weeknd—L.A. duo inc. has traveled the understated road, in terms of its wispy, soulful sound, as well as its potent mystique. Here, Andrew and Daniel Aged air their sexy after-hours funk—as heard on a 2013 debut, no world—which balances a hushed falsetto over low-end rhythms with a digitized sheen. (The brothers recently teamed up with buzzy London songsmith FKA Twigs, who plays her own local gig on Apr 17—no cameo promises; we're just sayin'!)
