HARD NYC: M.I.A. + Die Antwoord + Sleigh Bells + Theophilus London and more

The HARD series of festivals convenes today on Governors Island for a rather epic bill of heatseaking rock, electronic, hip-hop and indie acts. The controversial M.I.A., who can't stay out of her own way despite still doing awesome stuff (evidenced by her most recent Letterman appearance), headlines a bill that also features schizophrenic South African rap act Die Antwoord, Brooklyn's bombastic Sleigh Bells, suave NYC rapper Theophilus London and many more.
