Alex English and GBH are back with their big electronic-dance-music bash, the Girls & Boys affair, held in Webster Hall’s massive Grand Ballroom. This week, the gang is teaming up with the Bass Fueled Mischief bunch to bring in West London’s Caspa, who (among many other dubstep-focused claims to fame) mixed an excellent compilation on the acclaimed FabricLive series a few years back with partner Rusko. Since then, Caspa's become one of the main men of dubstep's jump-up subgenre, so be ready for much in the way of squelchy synths, wobbly bass and revved-up rhythms. He'll be supported by VibeSquaD, Antiserum and Hellfire Machina, with MCs Trac and Posi-D on mike duty. Go to gbh.tv to get on the reduced-admission list.
