Gerald Cleaver, a deeply responsive avant-jazz drummer who doubles as a handsomely evocative composer, marshals a crew of master improvisers—saxist Darius Jones, guitarist Brandon Seabrook, keyboardist Cooper-Moore and bassist Pascal Niggenkemper—in his latest bandleading venture.
