Gateway to Nations NYC Native American Heritage Celebration

Brooklyn's Redhawk Arts Council spotlights New York State's Native American heritage in this inclusive weekend fest celebrating all native cultures. Performances such as the men's fancy war dance and women's jingle dress dance, as well as the traditional Samoan fire knife dance (yes, they light their swords on fire), will be at the center of each day's events. In between acts, taste traditional dishes from tribes from across the country, while perusing wares sold by more than 40 vendors.
