Jazz saxophonist Jacques Schwarz-Bart, whose music blends eclectic styles from voodoo to postbop, christens a new sound: Jewazz. Using compositional tools and improvisational sequences, Schwarz-Bart explores the intersection of jazz and Jewish liturgical music, producing a sound that honors both traditions. The project is dedicated to his late father, the writer André Schwarz-Bart.
