Brilliant, eclectic and unpredictable violist, composer and bandleader Eyvind Kang settles into the Stone for a six-night residency spanning his myriad interests. He plays duos with bassist Trevor Dunn and trios with pianist Adrienne Varner and glass-instrument builder Miguel Frasconi to get things started on July 2; from there, you'll hear large ensembles (July 3, 5 and 6) and smaller groups (July 4 and 7), several featuring the sublime voice of his wife, Jessika Kenney.
