Evolving Music: Interstellar Duos

The long-running avant-jazz series hosts its annual tribute to the John Coltrane–Rashied Ali classic Interstellar Space. Performing are four sax-drums pairings: Ingrid Laubrock and Tom Rainey (7pm); Rob Brown and Satoshi Takeishi (8pm); Sabir Mateen and Michael Wimberly (9pm); and Tony Malaby and John Hollenbeck (10pm), with Rainey returning as a second drummer.
