These days, everyone's a musical omnivore, but few have spread the gospel of eclecticism as zealously as guitarist Eugene Chadbourne, whose three-decade career has found him improvising alongside John Zorn, covering Jimi Hendrix with the late Mothers of Invention drummer Jimmy Carl Black, and interpreting Erik Satie on banjo. He's playing solo for the first set, and mingling with trumpet innovator Thomas Heberer on the second.
