Eszter Balint, whom you might recognize from her brilliantly deadpan acting turn in Jim Jarmusch's Stranger than Paradise, fuses the clear-eyed folk of Sandy Denny with the ’90s flair of artists such as Solex and PJ Harvey. She's backed here by seasoned downtowner Chris Cochrane.
