Back for its ninth annual edition, The Empire State Music & Arts Festival runs from October 2 through October 8. With activity options for artists as wel as the general public, it promises to "transcend the boundaries of your average NYC festival."
There are two seven-day ticket tracks: one for artists (that includes artist development, network building, and studio time) and one for patrons (that includes a week-long immersion into multi-genre artistic ingenuity and community).
The line-up boasts headliners such as Convict Julie, alongside panel speakers such as DJ and tastemaker I Still Love H.E.R. and producer and influencer Sabrina Seidman. There will also be 16 immersive songwriting sessions held at Pirate Studios, one of the festival’s core partners this year.
