Empire of the Sun + Grandmaster Flash

Glammy Aussie electro duo Empire of the Sun (Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore to their buddies) returned last autumn with a new disc, Two Vines, the long-awaited follow-up to 2013's smash sophomore effort, Ice on the Dune. While the band's albums can be a little patchy, its outlandish live shows are reliably silly and thrilling. The band teams up with pioneering hip-hop turntablist Grandmaster Flash, who practically invented break-beat deejaying.
