Earth Day Concert: Requiem for Extinct Birds

The Sanctuary Choir of Park Avenue Christian Church premieres Requiem Pro Avibus Mortuis, an a cappella choral piece by inventive young composer Hannah Lash. The piece, which mourns the loss of innumerable species of birds, is a poignant way to mark Earth Day. Countertenor Eric Brenner and mezzo-soprano Kirsten Sollek are the soloists.
