Deftones + Refused

Deftones play the new Coney Island Amphitheater in support of their oustanding new release Gore. The moody Sacramento alt-metal titans have proven remarkably resilient, outpacing their mid-’90s contemporaries with a series of increasingly rich albums. Joining the band is arty Swedish hardcore crew Refused, which returns to the stage after a second reunion. (Back in 2006, the band released a 2006 DVD, Refused Are Fucking Dead, which seemed about as definitive a breakup statement as you'd ever read. But as we've all come to learn, such things are relative these days.)
