Kicking off the second leg of the Outlaw Roadshow tour, California rockers Counting Crows delivered almost all of the goodies last night to the sweaty Williamsburg Park audience. Even without "Mr. Jones" (a questionable omission), the country-flavored set was peppered with Crow crowd-pleasers such as "Colorblind" and "A Long December," as well as twangy covers from their new album, Underwater Sunshine (Or What We Did on Our Summer Vacation). When asked about the tour, dreadlocked frontman Adam Duritz claimed, "They've never played this well; I've never sung this well"—and from last night's show, it seemed the Brooklyn crowd wholeheartedly agreed. Photographer Bill Kelly captured the Crows along with their usual tour buddies Field Report and We Are Augustines.
