Conrad Herwig All-Stars: Latin Side of Wayne Shorter

New York trombonist Conrad Herwig has created a fertile niche for himself with a string of highly regarded albums on which he's transformed music by Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Wayne Shorter into sizzling Latin jazz. This weekend's engagement focuses on the last of those titans, with a band featuring Joe Lovano (Thu 30), Randy Brecker (Fri 1), Bobby Watson (Sat 2) and Dave Valentin (Sun 3).
