Bizet's classic opera returns to the Met with the fantastic Clémentine Margaine in the title role. In this revival of Richard Eyre's production, Marcelo Álvarez is her Don Jose and rising soprano star Maria Agresta plays the part of his faithful sweetheart, Micaëla. Conductors Asher Fisch, Louis Langrée and Derrick Inouye lead the orchestra through this affecting work of love, lust, jealousy and violence.
