Bushwick Book Club: Edgar Allan Poe

Beloved Bushwick institution the BBC moves to a swisher spot, Union Hall, for tonight's show, but we expect it to be just as fun. This excellent monthly event asks songwriters to read a book and then pen original songs about the work for a concert. Tonight’s participants, including Kung Fu Crimewave, Preston Spurlock, Susan Hwang and Sweet Soubrette, will be riffing on the works of ghost-story genius Edgar Allan Poe. We are thrilled at the thought of what amusingly themed snackage the club will come up with this month.
