Bushman's Revenge + Cortex

Following in the footsteps of fellow Scandinavian groups such as the Thing, Oslo's Bushman's Revenge confronts jazz history—in this case, the gritty, rock-leaning output of Sonny Sharrock and the Tony Williams Lifetime—from a punk perspective. Here, guitarist Even Helte Hermansen, bassist Rune Nergaard and drummer Gard Nilssen bring their pulsating, lavalike fusion to town, cobilling with woolly Norwegian freebop quartet Cortex.
