Brian Jonestown Massacre + Sparrow and the Workshop

When the documentary Dig! came out, Brian Jonestown chief (and the documentary's hero and villain) Anton Newcombe kvetched about his portrayal on screen. But the movie gave the singer enough devoted fans to command larger audiences. The band hasn't been in town for a few years, and comes now with a new album, Who Killed Sgt. Pepper? (Answer: That old jerk Colonel Mustard, in the library, with a rainbow-colored candlestick.)
