This bill reminds us of the Simpsons episode in which Lisa was in a band of second bests, along with Art Garfunkel. Headlining tonight is Brendan Benson, who will forever be saddled with (of the Raconteurs) after his name, although his own emotionally charged power pop stands up on its own. Support comes from '80s/'90s sophisti-popsters the Posies, whose Ken Stringfellow toured in R.E.M. and a latter-day version of Big Star.
