Boris + Cristian Arango

Spin one Boris album and the long-running Tokyo act might come off like a doomy version of legendary krautrock experimentalists Can. Check out another, and the band might resemble a noise outfit or purveyors of psychedelic boogie metal. The Oct 25 gig may well include all of the above and/or deafening, snail's-pace shoegaze à la the recent Präparat. Show up with an open mind and you'll be just fine.
