Blackgates + Bröhammer + John Wilkes Booth + Plague of Humanity

While not quite metal A-listers, drummer Paul Bostaph (formerly of Testament, Slayer and a bunch of others) and vocalist Dan Nelson (who fronted Anthrax during the tumultuous lead-up to last year's excellent Worship Music) are still big names among the faithful. Tonight their collaborative band, Blackgates, brings its thrashy, riff-forward anthems—Pantera is a definite touchstone—to Kings County.
