Bird of Youth + Harlan + Matt LeMay

Beth Wawerna, a singer-songwriter named for the 1976 Kiss song, fronts lo-fi folk-rockers Bird of Youth. The band's beguilingly fuzzy debut album, Defender, was produced by Will Sheff of Okkervil River and will likely appeal to fans of Neko Case and the Magnetic Fields alike. Matt LeMay of impressive local outfit Kleenex Girl Wonder leads off.
